Is it normal i actively try to avoid relationships ?

As I’m typing this my mom, two sisters, and grandma are all talking about potential dates and my mom talked about how many boys she’s dated. I’m the only boy in this house, and hearing how much effort my dad put in makes me think being a boyfriend must be really hard. I’ve never had a girlfriend before, people teased me about this as far back as 5th grade, but honestly it may be for the best. I’m probably gonna come off as sexist, but all these girls in my house are very talkative and loud, and most girls I know are like that. I don’t understand their obsession with relationships, I myself prefer being alone and not being responsible for another person. Perhaps someday I’ll change my mind and I’ll find the right person, but I HIGHLY doubt that person exists.

I’m 19, not sure if you consider that a child.

Yeah, I wasn't mentally ready for a relationship at your age. I actually wasn't ready until my mid 20's. You'll probably want one when you're older.

Normal at your age. You'll probably want to when you're older, but if you don't then that's ok too. Just do what makes you happy OP. It's exhausting worrying about what everyone else thinks you should do.

You sound like a reserved person, so maybe you also prefer reserved people, which looks like there aren't many near you. Just give time, this is no longer 20th century, don't feel rush to love someone.

Yeah, it's normal. Being single with no stress is awesome. I used to do this bad thing when I was younger, where I used to flirt back to guys who were interested in me, and then chicken out of a solid relationship because I did not feel emotionally or physically ready. Loneliness crept in deep afterwards. I agree with what everyone else is saying, go with your feelings, and ultimately when you're older, this view will change. Relationships are overrated and require a lot more effort than it looks, but having a compatible and caring partner in your life can enrich it for the better. And I wish you all the best with that journey.

Just do what makes you feel good. We don't need to be in a relationship to be happy and being in one doesn't mean we are happy.

Most of us are loud when we are with people we are very at ease. It's not about being a girl or a boy. Or maybe boys do not hear themselves.
