Is it normal i’m fascinated by greta thunberg?

I would say yes because she seems to be the talk of the town right about now. In all honesty I don’t know if I really side with her, as I’ve seen some pretty good points in her defense and against her (not counting the blatant insults). But I think I might be one of the few who thinks this, but I actually think the controversy was intentional. Whether it’s Greta herself, or her parents, or whoever is publicizing her, I think they knew that what she’s saying would stir up debate, which puts her even more in the spotlight, and I think that’s very clever!

But besides, I admire her for speaking her mind and being brave enough to stand up to the most powerful people in the world right now. Even if she turns out to be wrong, she at least has a lot of courage, something that seems to be lacking these days. Especially for someone so young, I always stress that kids are much smarter than we give them credit for, and I think she’s evidence of that! Plus, while I’ve not been officially diagnosed, my mom thinks I may have Aspergers, so maybe I relate to her on that front as well!

She's a sign of the times. An autistic child, without the most basic degree, paraded around to appeal to emotion. The west is pathetic for giving her this much attention.

Yeah it didn't really stir up any meaningful debate. No one is really debating climate change because of Greta. What is being debated is whether or not using a child for political gain is right. Especially when they clearly choose someone who would best suit their needs.

It is brave to speak on a large scale and I don't fault Greta for being put into that position, but her speech didn't really consist of much facts so it's hard to tell how knowledgeable on the subject of climate change she actually is.

Why did you find it nessesary to make your post about you?
    You asked a question.
    Thats normal.
Then toss in some personal guessing about you having ass burgers?
    Who cares.
    Stay on point.
    As for the young lady.
Shes doing what she feels is right.
We can argue whether climate change is real, whether its caused by man VS a natural thing that happens over time.
    BUT, the inequality of wealth.
    the extinction of animals.
And things like the garbage island that is larger then Texas floating in the pacific.
These are facts we should all be thinking about.
What is sad is some peoples greed only says, more.
To hell with the next generation as long as Im rich today.
Sadder then that is they can spend money to influence poor people to vote to keep things this way.

Oh, so that's the name of the idiotic high schooler who was brainwashed as a child into believing climate change is an actual problem. (I know climate change is real, it's just not a problem)
