Here’s the thing. I could never describe him as a sissy. Growing up his step father was extremely violent and used to belt him regularly, in his teens he started to intervene when his step father was in one of his drunken rages and beating his mother up yet again.
At 15 he found out his step father had been regularly rapping his sister for about 4 years since she was 12. At this point he went berserk and that night when he came home my husband attacked him with a kitchen knife ready to kill him. He was stabbed but didn’t die but he had been so drunk, when he woke up in hospital he didn’t know what had happened. My husbands mother made out it was self defence and as everyone knew what he was like they believed her.
At 18 he joined the military and went on to be in special forces for 10 years. I don’t know details but I know he saw and did some terrible things. Since leaving the military he’s worked in construction in what I would very much describe as a mans world.
Yeah the whole world has changed and I don’t like or understand a lot of the modern ideas. But to me a sissy is a girlyfied whimpey man and he definitely isn’t that.

Yea that has nothing to do with being a sissy. The definition has changed since like 1990
