IIN Husband wants to wear dresses

I don’t know why! I don’t have a problem with women wearing trousers even though once upon a time that was totally unacceptable behaviour. Now it’s considered normal. But the idea of men wearing skirts/dresses is not acceptable to the majority in our society, which when you think about it is totally hypocritical. Yet I still have a problem with it, even though I can’t explain why. What makes it even more hypocritical is once upon a time men dressed in tunics and tights. These were far more like the short dresses women often wear these days which would have been considered outrageous at the time if a woman had dressed that way. They were expected to wear longer skirts that hid their legs.
