I really don't think it has anything to do with a man's love of a "challenge". He didn't feel the same way. It's as simple as that. He's clearly handling it in a very immature and inconsiderate way, but what he did does make sense to me. If someone told you they were "truly, madly, deeply" in love with you, and you didn't feel the same way, wouldn't you feel a little uncomfortable? I know I would. I wouldn't cut off contact or be rude, but I also couldn't just continue the relationship as if we were on the same level of love and intimacy.
But ultimately it's hard for us to comment unless we know a little more. How long had you two been dating? Have you ever told him before that you love him? Has he ever told you? How comfortable is he with being intimate and sharing his feelings?
Its been one year now .and yes he know this that i have been feeling differently for him since months now .I do know that he tries to hide his feelings sometimes .he is good he is sincere .he is like an ideal person but he :( '.I really tried hard to face the truth but could not change my feeling for him.I think he just took me as a 'friend'and I expected .... something else .YES he never actually said he loved me but through his care and feelings shown ,i thought he loved me (and my love grew deeper and deeper) ... :( n now no contact nothing .. :( he is so full of ego ..i wonder why ..LOVE IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE
Naw, don't say that. I know it hurts and I know it's tempting to just give up, but it will always get better. Learn to be happy with yourself, and then see if you can find a mutually dependent relationship.
Yes I am 20 and i am a student of 3rd year engineering n He is 24 .. student of MBA ... .Yes i guess u r right i have to try harder but at least try TO BE HAPPY with myself :(
