Hmm, I donno if they're the "best", but it's certainly an eclectic mix. I guess it's because alot of sites focus on a more specific interest (politics, games, a fandom, etc), so all the names usually relate to that. Whereas here... well there does seem to be a preoccupation wish sex, but be we still get a pretty good mix of topics.

My name's pretty unoriginal...I just chose my favourite anime character. But I agree that most people here have quite unique usernames; more than any other site I'm on.

This site told me to choose a name which cannot be used to identify me. So dark matter is a type of matter which is mysterious and invisible. It cannot be identified. It is more than 27% of our Universe while normal matter (what we are made of) is only 4% (representing I am more than everyone. Don't take it as an offense). It only interacts with normal matter (what we are made of) by gravity (representing influence).
To be honest I never thought so much about my username as much as I thought for this one :)
You should check out Xbox recommended usernames. Just an adjective and a noun pushed together.
I dunno about you, but Tumblr has the funniest, weirdest, most confusing usernames on the internet. I mean, spicy-vagina-tacos is a pretty clever name.

I've never been so concerned, or enamored by Usernames that I actually pay them that much mind. I guess they're kind of cool if you think about it. But they're not really different from any others I've seen on other Websites. Usernames I normally see consist on just a play on words, or really really bad dry humor just like on here. I don't know I guess it's based all on perception.
I think eBay usernames are better. But there's one user who's funny and intelligent, (from what I've seen of her) and her name is really cool; NeuroNeptunian. Haven't seen any name here that's better than that. But the names here aren't the best, in my opinion.
If it rhymed properly it would be "DirtyBirty" or "DirdyBirdy", so I'll have to take off an extra point for a fake rhyme.
Technically, you could make the same argument for squirrelgirl. To rhyme properly it would either be squirrlgirl or squirrelgirel (depending on you pronounce both squirrel and girl).
