Is it normal for your rib bone to feel like it pops when you laugh?

When I laugh too hard, sometimes the uppermost ribcage bone on the left(the ones that sticks out) will feel like it pops.

Also, unlike the one on the right side, which is slightly sunken in, the one on the left juts out. Is this normal?

Did you ever break a rib or get some sort of chest injury? It doesn't seem normal to have that happen so often.

    • Not that I know of. The popping sensation has only been recently, but the way my rib bones look have always been as I described.

Huh... Seeing as this occurrence is new, but your left rib has always jutted out, maybe the popping has been an issue that's been building up overtime? If you have the resources to do so, you might want talk to a doctor about it, just to make sure.
