Is it normal for your home to be infested with fleas?

Whenever I wake up there are fleas sucking blood from my arms.

I think you may be confused as to what the word "infested" means. Infestations are a clear indication that something isn't normal. Unless you are a part of the infestation. Are you a flea? Are you Flea. Can you sing for us?

    Please

Give me blood, I say. Blood, blood, and more blood. I want to suck your blood.

How about some boric acid instead?

Do you have animals or know people that had animals? If not then, there's a chance you picked some up without knowing it. Sometimes a simple trip to the store, a bus ride, or any public place can get you bugs. Wash all your sheets/clothing, vacuum everywhere, use a bug bomb, and treat your animals if you have any. I dealt with a pretty mean flea infestation a few years ago. I did all those things and became flea free.

You need to call pest control

This can happen. Pain in the butt to get it under control. It takes a multi-pronged and dedicated attack to get rid of fleas. I think they've become resistant to the big gun topical flea applications like Advantage and Frontline.

Gotta be diligent!!! Treat all furry pets with flea treatments. Attack the whole house with flea treatments. You could try Nexgard.

It can happen but it's not normal to just live with it. You need to take care of the problem and it's not very hard or expensive to do. Do you have pets?
