Is it normal for your body to be allergic to someone?

So, I have this massive unrequited affection/love for a colleague because I entertained a fantasy relationship with her in my head, long-term. Every time we communicate (which isn't often), I feel frazzled afterwards, am either ecstatic with joy or wishing coronavirus would just take me.

Then about 6 hours later I get allergy/cold symptoms (headache, nasal congestion, sneezing etc.) and these last half a day, or a day, then disappear.

Is it normal that my body seems to have an allergic reaction every time I communicate with this person?? Most of the time it's by email, and I seldom leave my apartment!

Maybe you’re subconsciously sick of her.

Or maybe you just get sick anyway and are attaching it to this person, duh

Sounds like the massive stress you put yourself under when around her is just affecting your immune system.
