This was supposed to be a regular physical, not a gynecology exam. I am just wondering if he somehow took advantage of me. I asked him what he was doing and he said it was pretty standard. He didn't use a glove.
The Dr. should have used a glove, told you why he/she was going to do it and have a nurse as wittiness.
Without more specifics we cant possibly tell you if the procedure was normal or not. You sound like you are just looking for a reason to sue a doctor.
If you want serious answers on your matter I suggest you not be so vague. I know which procedures are meant for what, and what are done during them. So I can give you some information but since you dont give us any information we cant tell you. You need to explain in detail if you want help.
You also cant go to court if you wont even explain to us since in court they are going to make you explain in front of everyone(A jury of your peers).
If you cant even stand explaining over the computer how do you believe you are going to do it in court. Believe me if they have a good lawyer you are going to get slaughtered and with this shitty case you got going, you will be humiliated. So learn to explain to yourself idiot!
Now anyone can call me out for being unkind to this person but I have stated the truth. Which will save the OP a lot of grief if they decided to take this doctor to court.

I remember when I first went to my doctor he is an old man but he is very nice I was 12 and he checked everything he asked me to bend over and spread my butt open with my hands and he looked at my butthole and vagina he put his finger in my butt and it felt good and he noticed that I liked it and I had always fingered my butt at that age because I was taught when I was a young girl not to touch my vagina so I decided to touch my butthole and it felt good and he asked me why did I like it I told him I do it all the time in my room and he said his daughter always put her finger in her butt as a kid and he said that she always had stinky fingers and I told him sometimes after touching my butt my fingers stink he said if they smell like poop it's not OK but it's OK if they smell like stinky ass because little boys and little girls butts stink sometimes

I don't believe this is real story...for a fantasy it's nice esp if the doctor is really hot, but I hope this didn't really happen.
