  • I like background noise but I don't have it on loud. I used to need it to sleep but I got over that, still like to fall asleep to it though but it turns off on a timer.

    • Cool that you have found the timer! Noise while sleeping can interrupt deep sleep.

      A lot of people do watch movies or something before zoning off to sleep. You should tone down the light on your screen. It's the blue light that's the issue. Brightness from light can reduce melatonin levels. The light taps the pineal gland through your eyes. Seriously, a shot of bright light can wreck your sleep inducing chemicals. It's a common cause of insomnia. A person needs two hours of low/no light after exposure to bright light for sleep induction to normalize.
