Is it normal for neighbours to complain about slamming doors

I live in a duplex and the weather stripping is weak ,so I have to slam the door several hundred times a day.The neighbors hate it because all of his books and paintings fly off the wall and it tenses up his neck and shoulders and gives him a headache.He must be really sensitive or something.I don't get how the whole house could shake from me slamming the door.To me it is very soothing.

      because they are the one with the problem.He needs to suck it up and not get so worked up over this.He needs jesus.There is no way a window could break or you could get a headache or suffer a minor heart attack from someone constantly slamming a door.

    It's like someone drumming with a pencil next to you. To them, it's a harmless habit, but to you, it's an annoyance from hell. Try to be more considerate of your neighbors.

    It's very panic inducing. It's a nice relaxing evening and then out of nowhere, a loud BOOM and all your shit flies off the walls? Who wouldn't AT LEAST have the though cross their mind "huh, maybe something is wrong"?

    Get the door fixed, or do it yourself. Your neighbors will lose patience at some point and flip out.

    I had a downstairs neighbor in my old apartment building (it was only 2 apartments..one upstairs, me, and one downstairs, whomever), and their front door was below my living room. I'd hear boom, boom, boom, all the time, photos would be shaking, and, after awhile, I went downstairs to talk to the woman who lived there. Very thin, fit, and ran track for Adidas. Turned out, she never knew how hard she was closing the door, only said it didn't line up right on the inside, so had to really close it hard. Didn't realize the effect it had on my place.

    We got along well, so, it wasn't a huge problem after that, but, after she moved out, the next guy, wow...I think he made a point out of slamming that thing. I only mentioned it to him once, and he fixed it himself.

      I am not getting the door fixed and I am going to keep slamming the door because they are the one who is gonna get arrested for flipping out on me.They need to learn to handle stress better if that is all it takes.
