Is it normal for my niece to be wearing tight shiny black leggings as normal clothing to the supermarket? I didn't even think that sort of clothing existed for kids at that age?

    Well none of my daughters leggings are shiny ...but she wears leggings under Long shirts or dresses...its very cute

        Im not sure I see too big aa of a problem...i might need a refrance picture like if you could find the same shiny pants via google img.

        Because I cant determine if they are trashy looking or just made that way because young girls would love shiny/ sparkely things.
        I think it also depends on what they were paired with.

            Doesnt seem that bad with that shirt.
            however you can quickly go wrong with this...if you have too short of a shirt showing or almost showing the belly ...or shoes with heels...could turn the outfit quickly into not appropriate for children.

    What the fuck? The fact that leggings are SHINY does NOT make them any sexier or inappropriate than any other leggings. Wtf is wrong with all these people. Unless mr. 'Shiny leggings' has multiple accounts and gets some kind of sick thrill from posting about people wearing them...

      Kids should never wear leggings period. Leggings are an erotic item. Shiny leggings? That's way too erotic for even adults to wear.

        No they ARENT. Just because something is skin tight doesn't automatically make it sexual. If ur kid was wearing fishnets or something, then maybe I'd get concerned, but tights/leggings aren't fuckin lingerie. Get over it.

    Is that all she wears? Some people think that leggings qualify as actual pants, when in fact, they don't. Leggings are meant to be worn underneath pants.

      No ...no one would see them
      You wear them under long shirts (that cover your bum) you can wear them under dresses, skirts, shorts... you just need to make sure your bum is covered

        it's normal she wore that, she's 5 and wearing shiny clothing it's fun and cute. These days they make all kinds of kiddie outfit styles that are similar to what grown ups would wear and it all depends on how the parent chooses to dress their child. Personally I think its normal.
