Is it normal for my mom to have sex with other guys while she was 'in love'?

When my mom was married to my stepdad, she kept claiming to be so in love, but when her guys friends showed up, she would disappear for hours then come home reeking of sex. And when she got the graveyard shift, in the morning during the summer, instead of coming home and going to bed like she was supposed to do, she would put on her skankiest swimsuit, go swimming, then her bikini top would end up "accidently" breaking and fall off. And again, she would come home reeking of sex. My stepdad could smell it too and he got tired of it and soon left me and my siblings a couple weeks before school started.

      Because believe it or not, i haven't live with her my whole life. I just moved in with her almost four years ago. And everything went to hell.And somewhere, deep down, i keep hoping I can help her see the faults that she has made.

    First off I dont see why he left you if he wanted to get rid of your mom. Did he not even fight for custody? Also just because someone says one thing does not mean they cant do the other.

      He was the setp-dad if I remember correctly, the maternal mother would automatically get custody no matter what and he would have to prove her incompetence as a parent in court. Then depending on the age of the kids they might even decide to live somewhere else other than with the step-dad.

    I don't think of this as a normal or not normal thing there is alot that could have been going on that you don't know about. I've been accused of having sex after coming home from the gym and surprise I didn't have sex while I was there so reeking of sex doesn't mean that much to me.

    If its what she wanted to do then yes normal. If she didn't want to do it then why would she do it? As a pro? to pay the bills?
