If you had told him the masseur was hot and the massage turned you on, or if you had come home from the spa and immediately jumped on your husband and you'd bonked like bunnies, then I could understand him being concerned about what happened.
Assuming nothing like that happened, then it sounds to me like he's very insecure and proprietorial. I also wonder if he believes that massage therapists only call themselves that because it's more socially acceptable than 'prostitute'.
It's not a huge step from his attitude to that of fanatical Muslim men who insist that their wives remain completely covered in a tent and sitting on the other side of the room if they ever need to consult a male doctor.
