I live in a non western country. I am not native here. Sexuality and life in general is much more than say the U.S. , U.K. , Australia etcetera.
But I need to know is it normal - is this just a modern trend going on all around the world now or is it something only practiced where I live and possibly the rest of that continent.
What I am referring to is men who are not gay having sex (maybe only masterbation but from what I can gather ,without just asking strait out and appearing odd or sexually inhibited, intercourse) with other men who the know.

        Yep, pretty much. It's either bisexual or gay and in the closet. It's beyond ridiculous that someone would describe an obvious sexual preference as a "trend". I think describing such matters as trends demeans others of the queer/LGBT persuasion, because it implies that it's a choice like deciding what color to dye one's hair. I also think it's a cowardly way to go about life, as women who date such males ought to know, because of increased risk of diseases, and just more of that awful in the closet stuff.

          It's looking at gay sex as a mere "act" rather than a whole identity that gets it banned in some countries. That's literally the excuse religious extremists use to condemn us to death, that it's "just a sex act" we choose to do.

          For that reason I (to some degree) understand people who stay closeted in repressive shitholes like Saudi Arabia and Iran, they're in real danger there. However, no Western man has that excuse to be in a sham marriage with a clueless wife in 2016, it's never been more acceptable to be gay in Europe.

            the county I live in isn't in Europe and its probably the gayest country in the world in that openly gay men and women are left right and centre. Noone bats an eyelid at 2 women kissing in public (I use this as an example because its the most prevalent openly gay act I see day to day)
            And there is non of this 'its cool to be gay or have a gay friend rubbish. It's just so totally common and normal. Also sex cats between men and women (in relationships)aree more'open' /less restrained. than western countries. That said I can only compare to ... oh I've just realised that although I can't compare to every other country I can compare to every other continent and several countries within each.
            So this non gay men having sex with men may not even be a trend here it may well just be a cultural thing like the way in some cultures gt is normal for men to loose their virginity with an animal, usually a donkey. Yes that is true, I think you will find aggenuine documentary on the subject online. And now that I mention it those millions of men who have lost their virginity in that way aren't into bestiality its just a cultural thing.
            Folks on here don't know much about other cultures, ah why did I bother writing any off this as it will surely fall on (closed/small minded people)

        I think people are now realising that putting your penis(for any man) inside something - a vagina an anus (male or female are identical) is just a physical act that feels good so doing with a man may not be as visually gratifying but the actual feeling from the penis will be as good(as anal with a woman which I don't think is nearly as good as vaginal) or even better with man because he will know how tm make the other penis feel good .         Nope, I don't see it as oversimplifying, she's right.

        MOST men who have sex with both men and women are fully gay men who are in denial/doing it secretively. Genuinely "bisexual" men do exist but they're few and far between, nowhere near as many as there are bisexual women. Most "bisexual" men are just using "bi" as a half-out to prepare to come fully out.

        Sex with other men is gay, absolute end of conversation for probably 90% of the men who do it.

            No, my guestimate of 10% is made up of the few genuinely bisexual men (who do exist, just not in a very large number), and "not fully straight" men who are either drunk or just experimenting.

            For you to be a dude who is going to have ANY kind of sex with another dude (even if it's just kissing in the mouth), you have SOME interest in other men and are therefore not straight.

            Same goes for women taking a liking to other women (although personally I do think a LOT of women are low-key bisexual and have more fluidity with sexuality then men, but whatever).
