Is it normal for me to text people differently?

It's a lil difficult to explain.
For example, with my best friend I use proper grammar, a lot of exclamation marks, & emojis.
With my sister, I use "Haha" a lot and don't really use emojis.
With strangers, I'm super polite and use lots of smiley faces, and use correct grammar.
With one of my friends, I NEVER use emojis, or correct grammar.
Etc.
It makes it kind of awkward in group chats when I realise, omfg, they're gonna think I'm two faced.
IIN?

I use this new technology called my voice. And sometimes I actually talk directly to people. Without using a device or anything.

Really, how, cause I can't hear you, I only see posts. 😉

I quite like using the portal that is called the 'front door' which allows me to visit the 'real world' & to converse with those people you talk of.

I use that portal myself. It's amazing.

I text differently to get different people to understand what I am saying, based on how I think they read them. Mostly I come to those conclusions based on their past responses. Nothing abnormal going on here.

I have never been part of a group text tho, so I don't know if your paranoia relating to that is normal or not.

I think we all do. I'm not crazy about it, but, since my gf likes to shorten things, like "u" instead of you, and "n" instead of and, got used to it with her. My older sister was a teacher (and texts with her long nails), so I use proper grammar with her. Any mistake she makes is due to her nails, not grammar or effort.
