Is it normal? Well, racism is sadly still prevalent in the world so I guess you'd still be well enough into the bell curve. Is it right to hate them all? Definitely not. Not all black people behave atrociously the same way not all Irishmen are paragons of virtue (as you've illustrated).
Try to get to know some of them. Maybe you can dispel some of their preconceived notions about Caucasians too.
