Unfortunately, most of my relatives have the same mentality as you when it comes to black people. The best thing to do is get to know people as individuals.
You see white people on the news shooting up schools, malls, school campuses, and movie theaters. People regardless of their race will continue doing "atrocious" stuff.
You yourself just stated that you've lied, stolen, and hurt others in the past. Any individual of any race can do those things. You just happen to be white (I'm assuming).
Hating an entire race of people is not the way to go. Give people a chance.
That's the thing though. Most black people won't even let you get to know them as individuals if you are white (well at least white men).
And as far as crime goes, black people account for 7 times more murders per capita than whites.
I'm no racist, but I hate most black people, aka niggers. I've met a few black people who were exceptionally nice and cool to talk to, but the rest of them just give you a look like what the fuck are you looking at, don't talk to me, move the fuck along, or they'll even straight up say that or just ignore you outright.
