Well if they shoot/shot your dog, then they should pay a fine! Just because they're cops does NOT mean that they can do anything they want. Cops are real citizens too, and feel free to sue them just like if they weren't a cop. If you go to court and you need evidence, bring that dead dog along if you really have to.
