Is it normal for me not to tell this guy i have a 7 year old girl by him

I slept with this guy 7 and a half years ago something like that, the condom broke and I got pregnant but I didn't want to tell him because I didn't want a relationship with a guy like him he was 25 and still was very immature plus the sex was awful to me. I left tn and moved to tx before he ever found out what should I do should I just leave it alone?

Is It Normal?

  • Raise your daughter to be a ruthless assassin and let the vitriol slowly swell inside her until one day as she's fighting crime in the ghetto housing projects she finds her estranged father slumped on a whiskey-stained loveseat with a drugged up Thai hooker draped across his lap lazily giving him a handjob and watching Wheel of Fortune reruns until he turns around and sees his assassin ninja daughter right before she stretches a condom over his entire head and suffocates him then she puts on sunglasses and looks at the Thai hooker and says "always use a condom."

Yeah. That would be so badass.

  • You need to tell him. If he doesn't want to be involved in his daughter's life, then you can move on. Until then, be honest.

  • In a way, he deserves to know, since she's his daughter.
It is understandable though if you don't tell him because you don't want him to interfere with how you raise her.

"What you don't know can't hurt you." But he does deserve to know.

  • Okay so I took the advice everyone has gave to me and this is what happened. My girlfriend had him on facebook as a friend so I wrote him a message about him having a daughter . He told me he's really happy and married (he's 34 now)and has two kids and doesn't want to say anything to his wife about the situation because he is afraid she might leave him and that would be risking his 2 kids he has with her and for me never to write him again. So I wrote back (okay I just feel alot better that I told you enjoy your family goodbye).

  • You need to tell him. Child support should be paid if you're having money issues and he has a right to know/get to know her. It's not fair either of them.

  • Your child deserves a father. You know what is right do it now before another 10 years pass. Put yourself in his shoes then your child's who you want to have a dad? Or at least know the truth? Cause your child will probs find out. You see it all the time on Jeremy Kyle :/

  • Your daughter and her father both have the right to know. The sooner you tell him the better. Think about your daughter. Don't wait another 7 years. Then you won't have to live with it anymore and the rest will be his responsability with what he wants to do with that info.

  • I would tell himm im not trying to be mean but, hes already missed 7 years of his child's life. He orobably would want to know so he could at least try to make it up. Also, you dont really want your child growing up without a father. It sucks. But do what is right for you and the situation that your in.

  • Fuck You All !
the important thing is the child must know who her father is .
can you imagine living your life without knowing who your father or mother is.

  • That's terrible!

You simply must tell him. End of story.

  • The guy has a right to know his child & the child has a right to know his/her father.

  • tell him quick before you end up on Jeremy kyle jeez

  • He does have the right to know if he has a child! If you don't to be with him that's fine, but how shitty would it be for your adult child to find you and start asking why you weren't there?

I'd flip my lid if I had a child and somebody was keeping it a secret from me!
