Is it normal for job descriptions to be this comical about physical demands?

Is it normal for job positions to get this specific about stuff that to me seems irrelevant, lol -->

This is for a marketing management position. Read on --->

Physical Demands:
"While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus."

Um, what about listing the details for your heart rate and time required to hold your pee that's soooo necessary for this job?

Who writes this stuff???? LOL!

Amazing, they want a worker who can see, feel and hear. It sounds like a joke job description to me

It's normal. These days workplaces have to make things really clear to not piss anyone off.

Um, some people have physical limitations/disabilities. It's helpful to know the physical demands so you can determine if it's worth applying, otherwise you're wasting everybody's time...ya know?
