Why do people do this? I've known adult men on various sites who will spend a considerable amount of their time posting hateful assumptions towards specific users who have upset them in some way. Sometimes it will go on for YEARS. They are not "just trolling", because you can tell they are trying really hard to get some feelings of indignation across. What is the mentality behind this? Don't they realise how pathetic and hypocritical they look, trying to dog someone else when they are obviously just as bad or worse?

        Good going, girl! I can't stand how certain types of males feel entitled to act like sore losers, while women are expected to try to meet societies high stands, put up with creepers and deal with criticism with a smile on their faces. Ugh.

    A lot of people don't want to admit this but your online interactions are actually a part of your life. There are a lot of people in this world who never fully develop despite being over 18. I don't get mad at them though because what adult really gets mad at a child.

    They're probably single, working a dead end job with an asshole boss. The only joy they find is in making other people feel as shitty as they are. My theory anyway. I've haven't done any extensive study on this issue.

    They try and improve their own worth by belittling others. It’s the same as people coming up with fake personas or multiple alts and thinking they are fooling people, when they are only fooling themselves. Just losers.

          Oh believe me I'm just visiting. In town for pleasure if you will. This sort of thing is pointless, if you understand which may be hard for you. I can't find the decency in me to give you a clue as to my identity, yet I will in time. You know when someone says "see you later" and then somewhat of a senseless comment ensues, which is "not if I see you first" well this is one of those times the person says they'll be seeing you first actually means it. I'm glad you think it's a joke though, you have a winning sense of humor, well at least this whole ordeal will be funny for one of us.

    I don't know, but it happens to me all the time, I usually give in and fight back, because hey, even they deserve to masturbate.

    My guess is they feel slighted by something and now get their jollies thinking they upset users. They are the true trolls.

      It's just annoying how some people feel the need to project their own insecurities onto those who are otherwise happy. "Oh, your life doesn't meet my standards of perfection, yet you're happy?! You must be a disgusting piece of shit!" type of thinking.

      I don't think they are trolls, because trolls are usually funny. They just seem bitter.

        I don't mind when someone disagree's. The people who do ad Hominem attacks and take no stance or an opposing stance just because, are the people who are messed up.

        It's no big deal, but they mess up the site and make it less enjoyable.

          Yep. I have seen at least a couple users on this site who have some kind of vendetta against other users and frequently reply to them in multiple different topics, using straw man arguments they've based on other posts that have no relevance to the one they're in. It's very annoying and childish and I wish the management would just throw these people out already.

            I have had trouble with repeated attacks from a specific user. Blocking her worked well. Why don't you try it? Go to their user page and click the block user link.

              Nah, I report them instead. I'm not bothered by what they say (in fact it's pretty entertaining), I'm bothered by how delusional they are. People need to learn that there are consequences to their stupidity.

              I am sure they just get off "tricking" me with an alt anyway so it's pointless.
