It's either implied that you're invited, too, or..They're genuine assholes who intentionally leave you out to send a message. One of my friends a long time ago, was famous for bitching and complaining about everything, all the time, so..The rest of us started planning stuff together, places to go, etc, in front of him to say, you're invited, too, but we know you're going to whine and complain.
