Is it normal for female friends to talk about smut and porn with each other?

Me and a close friend recently got comfortable with talking about smut, fantasies, and porn with each other, but I feel perverted about it. Smut is what we mostly talk about out of those three, preferably 'male x male' stuff. I don't discuss those things when the two of us are in public.

I'm aware guys talk about porn and all that with their guy friends, but I never hear about girls being open about it.

    Yes my girlfriend and her girlfriends do all the time especially when they have sleep overs and watch porno all night while having an all night pussy party

    Guys dont talk about sex with each other. Usually the guy talkin about sex is the one not gettin it.

    Your perception is well off the mark. Consider how much more intimate girlfriends are with eachother than guys are with eachother. Guys are happy to give eachother dating advice and check girls out, but they aren't going to go over their porn collections.

    It is normal for girls who are comfortable with eachother to talk about sex. The problem occurs when you have little else to talk about.

    Err... no. We'll make obscene jokes, talk about a hot girl and such, but that's it. Looking at porn is a private thing and most guys keep it to themselves.

    Mostly clothes and downtown plans in my case. Best salons and their prices for highlights/blowouts. I'll always love yaoi/male x male though.

    Guys dont even talk about porn that much with each other

    Some guys would be embarrased to talk about porn.

    At least the guys I know dont.

    We talk about if we think a girl is cute or something, which im sure girls do too.

    But not really porn.
