Is it normal for daydreams or thoughts to get stuck in a loop?

Sometimes when I'm daydreaming certain scenes or bits of dialogue will get stuck in this loop in my head, just repeating that one bit. How long it goes on can vary but it's really annoying. Does this happen to other people?

    This happens to me daily. if your insane then that makes me insane. So lets hope that this is normal. (':

    Yeah, sometimes I'm just repeating sentences over and over for days. Unsure whether it's normal but definitely common.

    Annoying music gets stuck in my head. its very annoying.
