    It's normal she did it at night when she assumed she was cloaked by darkness and everyone was asleep.
    If she does that outside of those parameters then I sense exhibitionsim and that's not a good thing.

      I am frankly suspecting the latter, in which case I don't know how to handle it.

        Is she showing any other signs? How does she dress? If exhibitionism is the case then from experience it's very hard to reverse in teen girls, and when you try to they get moody, ignore you, etc.
        Most of the time it's the effect of other girls she mixes with. If she has a phone or something like that, you're her father so you should take it and look through her messages as well as her pictures.
        I would definitely bring it up with her. Just try to gently question her. If there's something she doesn't want you to find out, there's a good chance she'll lie so be careful.
        Good luck sir, I'm a teen, therefore I'm surrounded by girls like her so I know a little bit about this.
