    • ASMR.

I also don't enjoy it. Everyone else seems to :/

      • I think it's fair to say that if it's not pleasurable, it's not ASMR.

        • Same triggers and the same feeling?

          • Regarding my experiences, I can obviously only speak for myself. But it's unanimously agreed upon that it's a very pleasurable feeling.

Triggers vary, but common ones include whispering, scratching sounds, and observing quiet, skillful tasks.

            • All the videos set me off. Thinking about the triggers sets me off.

My grandmother just put on the opening track for West Side Story. The drun rolls and soft clicking are driving my insane in my shoulder blade.

        • Yeah, I have to agree with you. ASMR is a nice feeling.
I don't see how there's people with ASMR who don't enjoy it.

        • Yeah. I thought I was the only one who found it not so nice. I know a few people on IIN have it - True is the one who told me about it in the first place.

          • I can certainly imagine why you wouldn't to enjoy it. It can be quite a creepy sensation. I enjoy it myself though, although not as much as some people seem to and most of the common triggers do almost nothing for me. Most of the triggers are eerily soft sounds, but I prefer harsh sounds and listening to soft ASMR only makes me feel frustrated and compelled to seek out something that sounds harsh and grating (loud scratches and scrapes). A lot of people are probably the opposite to me though.
