I don't understand why people expect him to shower her with gifts and spend money on her as a way of showing affection. Just because she's a young woman? That's called sexism and it's also taking advantage of someone, playing with their emotions. Why should an older man be made to feel that the only chance he has for spending quality time with a young lady and the only way he can attract her is by material things? Two people from different backgrounds and different age groups can have meaningful interactions with each other if they learn to respect each other as people and individuals and not have preconceived notions of how the other person should act.
