Is it normal for an adult to continue w/ picking and eating "boogers"

Ever sincemI can remember, my finger's always been up my right nostril and plunged into my wretched maw. I'm now 19, and I still pick my nose and eat whatever's on my finger. It's gotten to the point where if I dislodge a certain dried mucus splotch, my nose begins to bleed... IIN?
