  • OK, I NORMALLY horse around on here and crack jokes, but for once I will be serious. take notes: I AM a licensed Psychologist and work for the Criminal Justice System. All man made laws aside, it is completely normal as long as the teen is well past puberty. In the Mammalian animals it is a natural drive to seek a mate that is most capable to reproduce and procreate to further the survival of the species. In humans this is teenagers. The female will have the longest reproductive span and the male will be the most virile at this age bracket, peaking at about 18 years of age... So this is an instinctive drive.
However sociologically speaking, we have adopted rules and morals against such practices for well defined reasons based on the mental health of the younger person. In the long run, the youth does not have the mindset nor life skills necessary develop a healthy romantic relationship with a much older person, and the situation rapidly turns toxic and causes the teen many mental health issues. In just a century and a half past it was common to arrange marrages of youg girls to older men, and much information became available as the science of psychology was developing and maturing, giving massive amounts of hands on proof to the issues this created. The same too, was found in the cases of incest, which contrary to popular belief, are not all that prone to produce "defective" offspring, unless the family lineage is so inbread for numerous generations that the genetics are literally locked to two sets of genetic material for multiple generations, as has been found in many cases in history (and on sci fi tv). The point here is in both instances there is a very high risk of emotional trauma, which is why society has enacted laws against incest and statutory"rape" type situations.
