Is it normal for a modern urban man in his 30s to get lice?

I'm not some redneck sister-fucking hillbilly scratching his balls and drinking horse piss, so why did I get lice from no physical contact with any people or animals, and being in a sterile environment at work and at home? I have not even been near a plant.

You could get lice from many places like the coat check at a museum or pub.
Buy some lice shampoo and one of those combs.
Don't tell people or they will think you are not normal.

lice cannot jump nor fly but they are attracted by electrostatic charges and using these charges they can cross a certain distance through the air and seemingly "jump".
Hair is easily charged by combing or taking of a hat, scarf or sweater. as the video illustrated this charged hair attracts lice from a distance. lice are quick to grasp onto the hair and climb up towards the scalp. In this case no direct contact with lice has to be made in order to infest hair.
