Is it normal for a large number of people to not recycle their trash?

Is it normal for a large number of people in a community to not recycle their waste despite the ease of doing so? They've got curbside pickup. They've got a waste recycling center that's easy access. Why do they just ho hum continue to neglect that this simple task has self-benefits? You can't dump all this waste someplace and not expect that stuff to leach its way back to you. It's a health hazard to ignore recycling.

Not sure why people don't do recycle??? It's so easy.

Even some of the stupid members of my distant relations are lazy bastards that won't do this.

Why should I even care? I'm not a baby breeder. When I die, I'm finished in life. I'll just get recycled, ha ha.
