Is it normal for a guy to shave his armpit hair?

Well, the thing is, I'm not doing it for the aesthetics, no. I am doing it because I find it stinks a lot less without hair. And you're not showing off your armpit to people anyways because you're always clothed.

Your body, your choice. I'm a woman and I don't shave.

I've also never worn deodorant - I'm Asian and don't have BO, it's the greatest thing.

Let’s just say Asians and especially East Asians are less likely than any other race to have a body odor because of a fewer sweat glands(meaning if the regularly shower or live in a cold climate they might never need a deodorant) but I really doubt Asians can’t produce any body odor, I lived in south china for 4years and in the summer some of them had body odors;well there’s a select few people who have an alteration in their genes hence their sweat can’t be broken down by bacteria to produce odors, this could be the group you might find yourself in,these people are rare and may never produce any body odors ever regardless of whether they sweat or not

The majority of East Asians don't produce body odor, but that gene is very rare among other races.

Yeah. The no-BO gene is only common among East Asians, especially Koreans. Well, South Koreans, I don't think there's much data on North Koreans...

        • Well, from what I've heard, Asians aren't as prone to stinky armpits as whites are, for some reason.

            It's a genetic thing.

    • Then we're both going against gender norms.

We should team up and become stronger than ever before.

  • Good reason to. I’ve never seen a guy shave it but I don’t see why not. Having hair tends to bother me personally.

I perfer to trim it rather than shave it. Idk if it's for everyone but my armpit hair actually decrease the overall amount of friction when I move my arms.

    • Not really for me though. Some people seem to have that problem and some don't.

Whatever makes you comfortable with your body hair is your decision

I'm a lady. I don't shave anything. I wax for the beach or other things that require a bathing suit. I find that I do smell worse when my armpits are waxed clean. When fuzzy, it's not too bad.
