Is it normal for a 28 yr old cant ride a bike?

Stupid question I know but I seriously cant ride an push bike lol.. lame huh?? I know i rode one as a kid.. then not and then again early teens and not again.. tried just now and I fail to get started.. I feel like I'm scared to try as I'm oober super dooper embarrassed that I cant ride and I'm embarrassed to do it cause I dont want to fall (while trying to do it by myself or in front of someone)

Do I need those training wheels again?? Lol

Is It Normal?

  • I'm 48 years old, and I can't ride a bike. Nothing to feel embarrassed about,it's not that important, anyway.

  • I'm of mature years and I have never been able to cycle, although I love motorbikes. I have balance issues.

  • After about ten years, you lose the muscle memory needed to ride a bike. You can relearn the balance by lowering the seat and coasting down hills while you drag the brakes.

  • My mother couldn't ride a bike at that age, because she grew up poor without a bike.
