I'm 20, and I've never been in a relationship - infact, I've never even been kissed. I'm not really looking for a relationship with a guy, I'm independant and having to worry about being with someone, calling them, and hanging out with them all the time seems daunting. However, I find I'm desperate to have sex - because I want to, not because of peer pressure or anything! Is this normal, and if so, what should I do?

    Guys can have sex n' no relationship. So why can't women? We have needs that need to be met every once in a while... Who fricken cares. Its sex, not marriage.

    If you've never been in a relationship you have no clue what its like and the feelings you will feel. sex is better when your doing it with someone your very comfortable with. but at 18-2?... lots of girls get freaky for a bit.

      I am married now and faithful, but when I was your age, I slept with any guy I wanted and I loved it. Three in one week, one of whom was married. There's no harm when you are young, so long as you are comfortable with it.

    Sex only is normal. My wife and I have occaisionally seen our FWB for over 15 years. It keeps things healthy.

    It's not easy being a woman. If you tell men that you want sex but not a relationship, you're going to attract the wrong type of men. I don't really do the FWB thing but maybe it'd suit you. Perhaps with someone who is already a friend.

    It is normal to feel that way and as you can tell 99% of men are pigs and rather than encourage you to do the right thing - they'd rather bang you. Personally if I was you, I'd get a girlfreind who was maybe bisexual and get yourselves strap on and both of you can take turns pleasing each other. This way there is very little chance of STD's and you won't have to worry about a reltionship - or some filthy pig guy using you like his personal slut...because most men treat women like that even if they don't admit it...they are thinking it.

    Think about this, when you have sex with another man/woman your having sex with the people they had sex with and the people those people had sex with and the list goes on forever - this is how STD's are transmitted. Do you really want to exspose yourself to those types of diseases? I'm a man and I am very selective with the woman I have sex with and can go a very looong time without sex. There is something to be said about masturbation and for women there are dildos - so you have more variety and pleasure with playing with yourself. the best part about masturbation is, no guilt or worries about contracting STD's. So now your choice should be, do I want to risk getting herpies, crabs aids, or cervical cancer because some guy lied about how man women he had sex with!
