I’ve shot H since I was 19, I’m 25 now. Never got hooked or addicted it’s like an activity I do once or twice a week, doesn’t effect my day to day, it’s my “going to the bar” at the end of the work week. I keep a job, working on my masters, all that bullshit so ya don’t take me for a junkie bum.

I used to just smoke it or snort it until I was like 22 and it was a party thing but now it’s super intimate. Changing from pipe to injecting really kicked it as a sexual thing, the whole ritual drives me fuckin wild.
Shooting alone, taking a bit too much and dredging through the house, stumbling, vomiting, just being a depraved and overdosed fuck, it’s heaven, that’s where my kink is.

Anyway. I fell in love with a nursing student and I wanna marry her and have kids and whatever and I know I shouldn’t be doing what I’m doing.

But I’m worried I’m going to lose something that gets me off so intensely and Ill end up constantly craving it again.

    You may not have been addicted in the past, but you certainly sound addicted now.

    If you want to marry and have kids you need to kick this addiction: having been involved with a few addicts it's clear to me that the drug of choice will always come first and that's not fair to others, especially to children.

    Please get some expert help, including but not confined to a Twelve Step Group. I don't know what they're called in the usa, in Australia we have Narcotics Anonymous. Watch out for Narcanon, they're scientoogists.

              Oh bullshit. You think I’m lying about being employed while using, then act like I’m disappointing my mom on top of it. You’re anti drug and just fool around thinking you’re hard. And if you do use you’ve got some “higher than thou” ass mentality.
              It’s a different experience for everyone and being dopesick can be better than sex for some people.
              Believe it or not people can use opioids and still function better than sober folks. Addiction is all in the head anyway and the physical withdrawals don’t happen for everybody it’s inheritated.

    Uhhhhh... everyone experiences withdrawals if they have developed and maintained a sufficient tolerance.

    So, there are two things you’ve said which don’t line up at all with the lifestyle of a legit IV heroin user. You mentioned going from “pipe to injecting” — well umm, heroin is not even smoked with a pipe, buddy. It’s smoked off of tin foil, with a “tooter.” I’ve never once heard of anyone smoking H with a pipe.

    Second, you mention “dopesick” as if you’re referring to the sickness that sometimes occurs when someone has maybe used a bit too much and they’re vomitting/delirious. Again, never heard of anyone refer to “dopesick” in that way. Dopesick actually refers to heroin withdrawal, dude. And no way in fucking HELL are heroin withdrawals better than sex. That shit has accompanied some of the most miserable experiences of my life.

    So yeah, I’m gonna call bullshit as well. My guess is you read some shit on the Internet about the “needle fixation” and then made the bright idea to write about it like a top-tier douchebag.

    I live in a very high drug traffic area and 17 ppl in one fucking day died from shooting Heroine laced with fentanyl in the same town 'SMALL TOWN'
