Is it normal feelings of repulsion after sex?

After sex (or even just masturbation) I often feel really down, guilty, kinda grossed out all at once. It normally only lasts about a minute at absolute maximum, but it's incedibly intense when I feel it and I don't like it.

These feelings aren't aimed at the person I was having sex with, it can happen even after solo masturbation, it's just a general feeling.

I'm a man btw, if that means anything.

    There are a lot of psychological reasons this could be happening. Often, feelings of disgust or guilt after sex or masturbation is linked to something in our upbringing and how we were taught to view morality. Do you come from any kind of religious background? Specifically any that may teach that sex outside of marriage and masturbation are sins?

      Catholic, but my family were never really practicing, although they were still quite conservative.

      It's weird though because it never used to happen. It's only started this year, and I've been sexually active for over three years now.

    Nothing to feel bad about. I often make the same sounds and flailing, quivering motions while standing in long lines.
    Come to think of it, I'm left feeling repulsed and disgusted with myself then too.
