Band wagon just to copy everyone else?

Why do people jump on the politically correct band wagon when someone has a different point of view ?

One person posted this on a site I am on ANON TRIGGER WARNING: UNWANTED SEX . . . . . . . . Hi, are you able to post an anon for me? I brought I guy back home from town on Saturday night and we fooled around a bit but did not have sex and then when to sleep. I woke up sometime later to him having sex with me... I guess I just want to check if people if people would consider this to be sexual assault?  So I wrote this  Dont bring randoms guys back like who the f does that. The little shits of op removed the post? Why? Why cant they stand a different opinion?? How strange

And then one of my Facebook mates that isn't really a mate just someone I chatted with said that's victim blaming ?
Wtf is wrong with them?

    Because it is victim blaming. Is she just never supposed to bring home a guy in fear of getting raped? Or should men just not rape women in their sleep? Which sounds more logical?

    Same kind of shit happened at my job last week. My co-worker's wife calls and tells him that some weirdo jumped out at her in a parking lot and started harassing her. His immediate response is "Well, did you have your stun gun?... Well that's why you need to carry it!" Like why are you giving your wife shit? She's the victim here and you're mad at her because some piece of shit ran up on her.

    The problem with our culture (especially in the past five years) is when you mention this kind of thing and tell men to not be shitty they throw the "white knight" or "cuck" label, those are the same people who say there's no rape culture... okay, sure....

        You said something offensive and other people got angry at you for it. Doesn't seem like their fault.

        I know you were just trying to give some advice, and yeah, maybe that individual didn't make some smart decisions that day, but it's kind of an asshole thing to say. I mean, just think about it. The person in question probably already knew that they made a bad choice and even so, it's insensitive to berate them about it.
