Maybe I just need to get a screw, but I've had a sort of lightweight on/off crush on a girl I locked faces with 2 years ago. Normal or not?

    Nature ab-whores a vacuum. If you've had no other girls to really think about, no girlfriends, then your mind will go back to it's last memory or moment of lust, connection, desire or whatever it was with that girl.

      That's a great way to explain it. I've been dealing with the phenomena for years but I couldn't crystalize it like that.

    I think you've got the right idea with your 'Maybe I just need to get a screw'.
    A crush should not become an all encompassing passion in life, but a tiny spark of desire that burns bright for a short time, then fades away.

    I'd say normal. Crushes, or love it seems, rarely ever approach rational behaviour.

    Is there anything more to this or just that one brief moment of connection?

      Just that one, spirit soaked connection and a series of fleeting, sterile attempts on my part to reconnect. She's got nothing for me even in terms of conversation now.
