Keep plants in your room. It may sound a little strange but believe me, it does work. I haven't had sleep paralysis since keeping plants in my room. The only brush with the "supernatural" I've had was the time when I accidentally astral projected.
Actually, sleep paralysis takes place on the astral plane. It occurs when the body is still asleep, but the soul is awake. The soul gets stuck in the body. The things you have encountered aren't hallucinations, sadly...
Plants naturally form a protective barrier around themselves and those that care for them. (If you are interested in plant sentience, I highly recommend reading "The Secret Life of Plants") They have been used for centuries by many different cultures and religions to ward of evil spirits and for protection.
Make sure that you properly care for your plants and that they are healthy. I had some unpleasant and scary "visits" (not sleep paralysis) when I was only using an unwell plant for protection.
Try learning how to lucidly dream. You can snap urself out of it. When I get sleep paralysis I can normally move my thumbs just a bit if it rrreeeaaaalllly try to. Maybe u can hook up a bucket of water that dumps on u with a button push lol.
I don't get sleep paralysis anymore. I unfortunately seemed to have lost the ability to Lucid Dream, unless last night's dream could be considered going Lucid. I wasn't even intending to so, but boy was it worth it. Usually, I get too lost in my dreams to be able to think for myself and manipulate them.
Thanks for reading and replying! I approached this with a more scientific tone, as many people on this site don't believe in the supernatural, but I believe I've astral projected many times (with three cases of sleep paralysis. Not fun). I have many plants in my house, and many were in my room, but no matter how well I care for the ones in my room, they always end up dying. Is there any substitute for this?
I would look up the care instructions for your plants. If it is a problem with not watering them enough, succulents, cacti, and agave are good alternatives. They just need lots of light. Sunlight works best, but bright indoor lighting works well too.
IIN Constant sleep paralysis? Please help!
