When I got my first personal computer, I became totally absorbed by it. To this day, almost all of my time is taken up by messing around online. Past hobbies and schoolwork were pretty much replaced by video games.

    Computer/internet addiction is totally normal, in the sense that many, many, many other people get sucked in as well.

    It's also really, really bad and has the potential to cheapen, even ruin, your life. Do your best to fix it, I'm rooting for you, bud.
