Is it normal cigar made me thirsty

Hello much like the title said I smoked a cigar last night for the first time and I enjoyed it greatly, anyways it made me really thirsty especially at the back of my throat. Is this normal or is it just the cigar I was smoking? Or just me? If it matters it was a oliva series 0

    I got thirsty after sucking a lemonade flavoured Chupa Chup which is a brand of lollipop. I have another one so it will be interesting to see if that one makes me thirsty too lol.

    It's reverse for me when I get pytalism while smoking cigarettes. But it's completely normal. I get cotton mouth while I smoke weed and snort cocaine.
