Is it normal cant use toilet paper only?

I came to usa from brazil last month all my life i used bidet now all public bathrooms i go there is toilet paper only.
i need to carry plastic water bottle to fill with water in sink and wash my butt after in toilet i can not use toilet paper only it feels too nasty? how americans can do it?

    I'm an American. We don't have bidets here but I use baby wipes after I drop one and only tp usually when I go number 1.

    Women who do not do a proper wash with water after pooping tend to get urinary tract infection easily. Reason is that nasty bacteria from back passage move after sometime with the help of moisture and gain access to front water passage. It is good idea to use anti-bacterial wipe if no water available.
