Why does being a women make this more or less normal then if you were a man? I fail to see how gender has ANYTHING to do with this question. You might as well have included your height or high school marks. They would be just as relevant. But to the original question minus the gender stuff, yes it is normal. I'm not exactly sure why but the smell of gasoline has an addictive quality to it. A lot of people sniff gasoline. Some smell it too frequently and it can become very dangerous for one's health.
