Is it normal american guy getting lots of attention from british girls

I'm an American guy who hasn't ever had a girlfriend or been on any dates back when I was still in America, but now that I'm temporarily living in the UK (Scotland to be exact) for work related purposes, I seem to be getting a lot of female attention. It's actually very strange. The moment that most girls/women around here realize that I'm American (usually my accent gives it away) , they tend to change their opinion of me and often act more flirtatious than before. I don't even consider myself to be good looking or special in any way, in fact I am pretty short and skinny (no muscle) at 5'8 (172 cms) and I weigh only 70 kg (around 154 pounds).

    It could be the appeal of the exotic.

    Or alternatively it could be a cultural difference; what you are perceiving as flirtatious behaviour could just be normal behaviour in the part of Scotland you're in. Scotland (and Great Britain in general) has quite a different culture than the US.

    So maybe you're misinterpreting the signals because you're judging them against US cultural norms, instead of British cultural norms.

        Really, cause every australian woman Ive talked to says they love american men. Ive been to australia too, and they did love americans there.
