My asthma to flare up? My throat gets so dry and my lungs fucking burn and ache whenever I'm in a super air conditioned place.

Is It Normal?

    One thing you have to watch out for with window units and old air conditioners is buildup of mold. If you're even slightly allergic to it, it will affect you. That's my best guess.

    Talk to a doctor. This sounds exactly like my asthmatic mom. Whenever it's too cold or there's dank air she wheezes profusely. I don't think it's uncommon.
