I had some satin sheets, nice, but the pillows kept slipping off the bed, the covers wouldn't stay on, and the slightest bit of rough nail on fingers or toes caught. Not at all practical, they only got used a couple of times!
Wine though......Oh yes.....
Have you ever tried silk sheets? They feel wonderful but, they are very cold and slippery.

No, I haven't, as long as its not icy cold the sheets soon warm up anyway.
Silk is always cold.
