Giving up a child for whatever reason is just passing your "problem" onto someone else. More people need to accept what life has given them, and just get on with being a good person.
I agree with Dappled. I would never give my child away because of a birth defect. in my opinion that makes you a bad parent. I will love my children no matter what. It's pathetic to think that some people would actually rather not love their own children if they have a problem.
