If casual, unmarried sex wasn't such a pedestrian, commonplace thing; if people were a bit more responsible and still had some morals/values, there wouldn't be so many unwanted pregnancies. But that would be in an ideal world. Or how do they say? - Prevention is better than cure.
With regards to married couples: they should of course feel free to have sex when they please, but unless they want to have a(nother) kid - use protection. In the cases where that failed, unforeseen circumstances hit, or the couple simply changed their mind, then I think that abortion should be a viable option. Even so, I don't think such decisions should be taken lightly or allowed too easily.
